Details of what is planned -

 

Eurostar and their agency are putting full page adverts in the Guardian, Times, Independent, Evening Standard and the Telegraph (the outside back cover of their sports section).

If the names printed contain those of a few but not all nominees , is this fair on those not published?

Would they be allowed to use real names? Doesn't data protection apply to adverts?

I think that it will be the usernames on the site tbat will be on the ad.

It's real names. There are I believe going to be 1500 names mentioned. They did a vote to ask us whether we would allow our real names to be used, cant imagine many people said no in fairness.

Real names will be used and it'll be of the first 1500 members to agree if they were willing to be in it.

So only those that agree will be in it, and has nothing to do with whether they voted 'A' or 'B'.

Someone has quoted that this is going to cost Eurostar about £50,000. Nice of them hay?

I think there will be opposition but, if I understand correctly ( and I do not always !) then a shareholder's vote counts based on the number of shares held. As the 3 main Directors hold 80% plus then it's just a formality. I just hope the bar is open !
