Just thought I would add put my 2 pence worth, I wasn't going to bother but I've just had a double espresso and I'm bored at work.

 

I think it would be fair to say both groups would probably look back on Saturdays events and admit the behaviour of some individuals on both sides was shall we say a bit reckless!

 

I agree with the Taunton lad that the atmosphere in the bar before the game was not good and yeah a couple of our lot did seem to be acting up.

 

However it wasn't all one way traffic, as Woody has already said he tried to smooth things over with the Taunton boys after H/T but was told where to go, they also abused one of our lot who was on his way to burger bar.

 

Also after the game instead of going into the clubhouse they stood outside as if they were waiting for us to come round, maybe they always stand out there afterwards but on a cold day like Saturday it did seem odd!

 

Obviously I'm not going to excuse what our lad did, if he has decided to put himself into a self imposed exile for the rest of the season then that is an admirable thing for him to do as we all know how much he enjoys watching Windsor.

 

I actually thought the banter during the game wasn't too bad and under normal circumstances would have livened up what was a pretty dull game. (Good result and decent performance from wefc btw)

 

Anyway lets all try to draw a line under this incident. We can't change the past but we can change the future, at the end of the day we're all non-league fans who are passionate about our respective clubs. There isn't really any need for all this animosity.
