What happened yesterday should not have happened, but the provocation dished out by Taunton supporters when the Windsor supporters were being escorted from the ground did nothing to help the situation.

 

I spoke with the guy who was unfortunatley hit by the glass, a nice guy by all accounts, and as a gesture of goodwill all the Windsor players and staff had a whip round for him to say sorry for the actions of one idiot.

 

I DO NOT condone what happened but as supporters, you guys from Taunton need to learn that if you are going to provoke someone, especially when they have had a few drinks, that you are going to get a reaction.

Don't forget the use of threatening, abusive, insulting, racist or other offensive language also happens to be illegal at sports grounds and at least 4 out of 5 of those items were in regular use by your crowd of chavs behind the goal yesterday and what made it worse was having 3 or 4 stewards stood next to them doing nothing about it!

Firstly, no one said you sang that song yesterday. Remember that there are 22 clubs in this division and they all talk to each other.

 

Secondly, no one said that you used racist comments. What Windsor_sec said was that it is an offence to use threatening, abusive, insulting, racist or other offensive language and that 4 out of those 5 were used yesterday, he never said which ones.

that little[****][****] you keep refering to is my brother i have since spoken to him and he feels really bad about what he did and admits there is no excuse for his actions. he also says he has brough great shame on the club and wants to apologise to everyone involved and he wont be attending windsor for the rest of the season on his own will as the club have not contacted him.

I wasn't going to get involved on this thread as I'm only a part-time W & E fan, being heavily involved with a club in a different League..

May I just tell you that my occasional visits to Stag Meadow are greatly looked forward to. Their hospitality and friendship is second to none.
