After this post on MYFC today, I would like to know if you think people like this should have a say in our starting line up.

I am sceptical a GK was dropped on strength of a sudden vote change.

as fans we have a right to be heard as well, they may ignore us, but we should at least let them know when we feel they are wrong.

Matty.....this is the nature of the beast that we are dealing with ! there maybe a few MyFC members who genuinely take an interest in the club......but anyone who pays £35 is entitled to vote, be they Stafford fans, Torquay fans, or someone who wouldn't know a football unless it was kicked up their a*se.

But believe it mate.....it's happening.....and happening fast.

It's all b*llocks....but we have sold our soul ( regretfully not for Rock and Roll !!).....

Get used to it mate..........

The locals will be left to pick up the pieces when it all goes tits up though......Kent league here we come ( maybe AFC GNFC ???)....who knows ?? Press the gamble button on your keypads...NOW !

I admit he sounds slightly more crazed than the average but I'm reasonably cool on the picking the team thing. Its not as though there are that many to choose from and I am sure Liam is smart enough make sure it works out.

Certainly far less worrying than the fact that we are about to get some new shiny shoes under the boardroom table.

There are 28,000 of them matty you are bound to get some stupid ones.
The big worry is that the intelligent ones realise that they can't possibly vote on team selection, if they abstain rather than vote for Liams choice that will leave team selection in the hands of the idiots.

What a silly question. It's OUR team not yours (in so far as ownership and control goes). It's like criticising Shepherd Neame for changing the flavour of your favourite beer. It maybe the beer you like to drink but it's not YOUR beer. Ergo, you are a customer/consumer of MyFC/EUFC not (unless you joined OUR internet freakshow) an owner, so it's not YOUR team. It's your favourite team, or the team you watch when Gills/Charlton are playing away, but you no more have ownership of it that you have over the company who makes your jeans, condoms or takeaway curries.

Plus I don't believe us freaks get to choose OUR team for another three weeks or so now, so everything's that happens to 'YOUR'/OUR club is still for the moment Liam Daish's fault.

I pay more than £35 for every 2 games I see. Clowntown will only ever pay the £35 once. Therefore I have more right to call myself an owner than he does.

It will all end in tears. MyFC will fail in 3 years, and out of the ashes a pheonix that is AFC Gravesend and Northfleet shall arise, playing at the new, but disused stadium.

Hmm, sounds familiar.

Mornin guys, I just had to say my bit (again) having read 'clowntown'(appropriately named me thinks!) comment contained herein by the party of the first part.If the mentallity, collectively or individually,is of this restricted and childish nature then what chance do we or OUR club stand. To say that apportioned blame currently rests at the feet of LD at this time shows a misplaced and non-intelligent undertsanding of the history and financial turmoil that this and similar clubs in football enjoy on a week to week basis. Also if he/she and others like them interfere with my preffered beer there will be hell to pay. "our team, ownership, control and not your team" seems to be reminisent of someone around the ages of 12-14 who's having a strop and falling out with his mates in the playground.A message to all MYFC people from me would be to ' hold council with the wise not the uninformed and trust the judgement of those who are worthy to judge and trust not those who would seek to mislead through stupidity and ignorance'. Help OUR club to move forward and remove the nonsensical objects from our sight please.
