Some people are boycotting the game due to AFC's 'illegality' from last season - I cannot come as its now a mid-week game and I can't fit it around work.

Maybe you lot should have taken your punishment instead of whinging on like you did!!!

Anyway, enough has been said on this subject and it's a persons own choice whether they wish to attend a match or not.

absoloutely margateshot. AFCW fans have said quite often that we are one of the better away supporters they have when we play them, be nice to keep it that way and it will be good for our players to see a good number of supporters have made the trip on a tuesday night and might push them further to get a result.

Just wished I was going

Come on now Tony.I don't often disagree with your comments but I don't really think theres going to a boycott from our fans. Those that normally go away won't even think of last year.I know its a bug-bear to you but I really do think you should let this go now. They got lucky, yes, but its gone now,its history.
Come on,wheres your friendly spirit gone. Forgive & forget an' all that.It won't change anything will it & it will just eat you up inside.

Last season, `most were posting that Wimbledon DID NOT deserve their point deduction.Indeed, the official club view was i believe the same.

It was our capitulation in last 3 months that caused Wimbledon to be ahead of us-not their reduced point deduction.

I believe the points should have remained deducted, but its irrelevant-and indeed-they did not gain from it last year as they failed in the play-offs.

Margate messed it up themselves big time last season.

This season started afresh-and if anything we have gained by having AFC in the division, and thus a reasonable home crowd.

The best retribution would be a Gate win at AFC, a play-off place and beating AFC in the play-offs-would those 'boycotting' still boycott the play -off if that were to transpire as to be consistent to your deeds, that is what you would need to do.

I do not boycott AFC Norbiton but just refuse to put any money in thier tainted grubby little hands. This has nothing to do with the points fiasco of last season at all but more to do with the attitude of thier stadium officals.

However, when Kingstonian are at home I am more than delighted to visit that stadium.

Tone, was just stating a fact! As its now mid-week, I can't come because of work. I don't like the attitude of some at AFCW, they do need a reality check sometimes!!! As you can see from others, there is a boycott of sorts but its up to the individual if they wish to attend - as always I shall support the Gate whenever I can.

If you want to stay away, or harbour grudges for disconcertingly vague reasons, citing only our so-called "attitude" (??) then fine, knock yourselves out.

And my wholehearted apologies that you didn't, in the end, capitalise on what would have been a vastly disproportionate points deduction... something that Margate FC themselves were very supportive to us about and sympathetic towards, which typifies the very positive relations our two clubs seem to enjoy.... culminating in the non-segregated, trouble-free mingling of both sets of fans at Hartsdown Park last September.

Speaking of which, and assuming he doesn't read this post, if someone would kind enough remind Wellsie that I would very much like to reciprocate his kindness and hospitality at that game, by inviting him to join me as co-commentator on Radio WDON for our league game on Tuesday week, that would be much appreciated.

All the best

As with every away game Melvin has arranged it and the supporters coach will leave at 4.30 from Hartsdown.

Agree Gringo. I don't have a problem with the Dons. Always enjoy their hospitality and enjoy having them at Hartsdown, even if I do always leave their ground with a very sore throat due to too much singing.
