Busta - I have thought about Fleet Leisure... So you have to PAY to use a bar? And until recently your membership needed to be
proposed? Hardly likely to attract the crowds!

Hopefully people knowing that they can just 'turn-up', have a pint or two, and watch the streamed away game, would be enough to get more people in!


If you join fleet leisure,are you not supporting your club?
plus you still have to pay bar staff at the club, where as fleet leisures bar staff are already employed, so if, not enough supporters turn up, the club could lose money,rather than gain anything, by having to pay out for bar staff to keep maybe 12 fans happy. Fleet leisure also has catering facilities open where as I cannot see the burger bar open at the stadium for a few fans who may turn up.

Busta - all very valid points. Ok, so - if away games were shown live at Fleet Leisure (courtesy of MyFC) would this increase the number of fans turning up? Something to think about for next season?

getting the new owners to show would be a feat in itself hirsty...I do believe that plans are afoot to repeat the concept with a cricket club in the summer...MyCc...
