About Daish, lets just wait and see. If I'm wrong I'll be the first to hold my hand up and say so. However, at this stage it would appear that he is stalling on signing an extension to his contract, for wahetever reason but possibly in the hope that something better comes along, but then he's hardly going to admit it is he?

Liam's stock is high at the moment, but with the team doing well he is not likely to leave at this stage of the season.

 

But if Liam is about to sign or has signed a new deal, there is absolutely no way on this earth that he would have done so, if there's even the slightest hint that MYFC members are going to pick the team.

A date in March (I think - am sure someone will correct/confirm) has already been decided when the "wisdom of the masses" will be picking the team.

Yes - end of March - Pat - that was the original timeline - although I would be arguing for a delay unless we start to get full game coverage and training reports in the very near future.

Is Lance the first "full-time" player to sign a 2 year contract with the Club? Previously most were only signed up on 1 year deals.

 

MYFC appears to be paying dividends already so far as re-signing players go on longer term contracts. Lets just hope most people renew membership next year.

Hows that progressing Dom? With the coverage, I guess its going to end up being internet streamed at first? Hopefully all the members have broadband, otherwise a high quality 90 min download could take all week!!

I think James Smith might have signed a two-year deal when he joined, but not 100% sure.

We did - it was part of the january transfer deadline vote. We agreed to Liam following his plans for the transfer window and signing players to contract extensions.

Don't know - Haven't seen any update recently. The Web Team are constantly working on site functionality and bring it online when they get it done. The plan is to have live streaming - but I have my doubts there will be sufficient uptake to make it financially viable. Certainly p2p and satellite time could be used.

Would have been nice if existing fans ( and dare I say it...Shareholders....until midnight 18 Feb anyway ) would have been sent an e-mail by the club. You would not recall this ( and why should you ?) but a lot of pre MyFC fans of EUFC ( & G&N) signed up to recieve e-mailed updates as to club news......that seems to have gone down the pan of late....well since about November really......

Hope Liam didn't damage his fingers sending all those e-mails ?
