Just thought of another... clay court tennis... 200-shot rallies only ended when one of them hits the ball into the net... yawn!

I don't mind horse racing or boat races-at least horse racing is fast hand has a bit of adrenalin and with the boating, well, men in lycra-what can I say! Yyou can also add to the list hockey and netball on the basis of my own personal experiences of both.

Cricket is brilliant! tests matches do drag on for a bit though, but one dayers are really exciting!

I see! Well, I'm moving up to Edinburgh next year, so I guess I'll have to get used to the curling then! If only I was going to the Rep.of Ireland, I could watch the hurling and the Gaelic football.

hurling is a great sport, like hockey but its compulsory to maim the opposition...uh oh does having knowledge of a mick sport prevent me from ever becoming a member of EFM?

I don't mind hockey. It's just that it brings back bad memories of rainy PE lessons out on the pitch getting, trying to play in a half-arsed way and coming away from every game having had a hockey stick wallop me several times on the legs <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Hockey was about the only sport I was half decent at.

Football I was OK but hockey I used to run around the pitch, Roy Keane style snapping at everyone's legs. I was quite useful in goal and scored a couple as well.

My best sport at school was probably things like javelin, discus all that sort of stuff because I've got quite good upper body strength. I was good as Wing-defence/attack and Goal defence in netball too! I've never really palyed hurling, but my grandad used to play, nothing big like, so it should be in the blood!

I was rubbish at javelin, discus all that stuff. I've got scrawny little arms, I'm afraid. I was fairly good at cross country. Badminton I was OK at but rubbish at Tennis.

Good upper body strength? You're not a big girl are you?, not that I've got anything against big girls.

Well I'm not Fattima Whitbread and I'm not Kate Moss! I'm just average you know, but I've got strong arms-my mum calls them baby carrying arms.

Well, if I ever do have children, a long, long, long time from now I have the type of arms that will be able to carry them safely and comfortably-baby carrying arms!

Yes, this is a weird topic. As for kids, I say that the best contraception EVER is to work in a place where you get screaming kids making a mess everyday. I don't think I'll have kids until I'm at least...45!
