Many new supporters want the views and opinions of regular supporters. I know you will probably pull that to pieces, but I think its true.

I agree with you here Yorkfox. Many new supporters have gone to lengths to find out the history of the Fleet and get the views from us regulars.

Difference is, I have been watching Fleet, both home and away for over 40 years.
I don't agree with members in York, New York, Adelaide or Timbucktu choosing the team they have never seen.

You miss my point.

Fans, supporters should have no say in the team selection. That is the job of the manager, who happens to be manager of the month.

He knows better than we do.

It is that thing, and that thing alone that is instrincally wrong with MyFC.

By all means pay your money, and most welcome it is,but don't lose sight of the fact this is not Championship manager, but a real team, with players ahaving wives, families and mortgages you are dabbling with.

 

We may have opinions on team selection, tactics, Gawd knows, I have more than most, but I would never presume to want to make the final choice

My local village side, Blofield Utd actually play in very similar shirts to the Fleet but I don't think they do replicas! But they are called the Beavers so I suppose I should show my appreciation for them.

Is there not a Law or a set standard, on the amount of voters that have to vote, to make the vote Legal eg one third of the membership etc?

As Myfc have no standards time, laid down for voting,that gives every member a fair chance to votes, Votes could be very easily rigged, let take the extreme, certain members want something through, arrange a vote that has a time span of 30mins,They are the majority of members who are aware of the vote taking place, next vote, carried, with 50 votes
