Hmmmmmmmmmm !

New voting procedure to follow ?

1) Result of vote declared.

2) You are then told what you're too late to vote for !

Sounds rather like China to me !

It's been a long day Pat, would you mind explaining to me what you were trying to say.

Sorry if I confused you Dom - the point I was making was about the limited timescale of the vote.
A more suspicious person than me might think that the delay was intentional so that the majority of the members couldn't vote, and therefore select the 'wrong' design.

RESULT:

From Eurostar:

"So, we now have the results from this short but eventful vote:

1803 voted and 1390 voted for scamp B (that's 77.09%).

We will now push on with advert B. Again we'd like to thank everyone that was able to take part in the vote for their comments, rest assured these will be taken fully into consideration on the succesful ad.

To be fair, 1800 votes in an hour is great - shame it doesn't multiply up when longer timescales given!

Yes - but it was only an hour long vote! I don't know how they were informed (mass email I suspect), but it highlights the lack of interest that exists on other votes.

I left the office for 2 hours and came home to find I'd missed out on a vote that I didn't even know existed. You cant tell me that there couldn't have been some kind of advance warning on this? Unless, as has been suggested, that there wasn't supposed to ever be a vote on this?

I didn't get an email from anyone about this for those that had asked.

Choice A does look like it was knocked together by a remedial class kid in 20 mins, so that would make sense.

Vote 1 - No choice - less than half vote

Vote 2 - No choice - less than half vote

Vote 3 - no time to take part - less than 12% take part

This thing is horse $hit, when you don't make 15,000 renewals next year, you know who to blame

I won't be celebrating anything on Feb 19th as I feel that there is nothing to celebrate other than another nail in the coffin of this football club ( not a cause for an extra beer in my book !).

The EUFC EGM is on 18th Feb....have you got the result of that vote already ? Yes....I suppose it's just a formality as the 3 main current EUFC directors hold over 80% of the shares......but who knows.....watch out for the Trocadero Popular Front & The Central League !!

I think the gesture by Eurostar is great, i agree that more time would have been nice but its is likely that by the time the go ahead was given by the eurostar board, passed to the design shop, designed, draught designs approved by eurostar, passed to Myfc and put to the vote etc the it has to make the return journey as a finished ad and got in the press.. Not many would get it done within a week or so

From what has been reported - the MyFC "web-team" had the designs for 2 hours before voting began, leaving one hour for the vote.
And why would it need a week? The 'official' takeover on the 19th wasn't only just decided, was it?
