To celebrate the official takeover of EUFC by MyFC on February 19th Club sponsor Eurostar will be placing adverts in the national media. MyFC are currently voting on two options for the advert. The vote finishes at 5pm this evening.

Eurostar have also invited MyFootballClub members to their Bluewater shop, at 1.30pm Tuesday 19 February, to celebrate the official takeover EUFC by the members. Some Ebbsfleet United players and staff have been invited too.

And is the invite strictly "MyFC Only" - creating ANOTHER divide??

We have the initial sketches (scamps) for two options for the advert.

Not a techie so don't know how to reproduce them.

The WT got them at 2pm and the agency needed a decision by 5pm.

I'll try and figure out how to get the winning one up.

But he is about to sign a new contract!

They are here. Apparently advertising people, apart from talking loudly in London pubs throughout their 3 hour, on expenses, lunch breaks (or don't they get these any more?) only work from "scamps" which is what these are. Most comments on the thread favour Option B, because option A could be seen as demeaning to Liam. Option A also looks rather "nothing" in its sketch form, imo. They have been drawn up by people at Eurostar not MyFC.

Option A

Surely you aren't saying it is another stacked vote?(allegedly!)

Which is an hour more than members will get on matchdays, deciding when and who will be substituted. Hope Liam has a wi-fi laptop so that he can keep in touch with the geeks.
I can see holes in virtually every aspect of this, Les.
Let us take the money and run!!!

Not too keen on either of the designs. Number two has to be the one really as the first run is downright offensive, both to Liam and some of the new overloads who actually think they really are experienced managers.

I think it's a nice enough thing for Eurostar to do though. Getting a glass of champagne is better than being offered some dodgy land purchasing deal isn't it?

MyFC need to sort out many things internally but I bet their appearance and speech at Bluewater will receive the most attention over the coming week.

This vote was issued with no time for me to actually vote. In fairness, I guess they have a printing deadline to meet or something.

Absolutely

Horse-shíte. The chosen ad company would have been told the deadline. If the "Opeator" took a long time deciding on which final 2 options to let the members decide from, that shows how little they trust the members to make the right decision.
