I wish I never went to Millwall v Southend now, Romford sounded much more lively!

Just a great evening's entertainment mate. The game had everything.

Oh! And there were a couple of goals (one each) as well for good measure. grin

And the official crowd of 126 was a joke. There were at least twice that number there and as our gateman said that he didn't recogise half the people in the crowd.

Thank you all of those who climbed in through the holes in the wire fence etc to watch the game. Your selfish meaness deprived Romford of some well needed income.

Awesome...traditional ESL match then, I miss the days when it when a majority of the games used to be like that!

Not the same now with the likes of Beaumont, Apsa etc

Bring on the Ding Dongs!!

Who was the ref?

I agree lads.I like tough, competitive but fair games played with intensity. It's also true that playing against some clubs you don't feel the same atmosphere than playing a full bloodied derby vs Southend Manor,Bowers,Basildon or Concord.I enjoyed our game at Rush Green with 190 vociferous crowd shouting all sort of banter or verbal abuse to you but there is an unwritten rule in football:"It all stays on the pitch".Once that fella blows the final whistle,we should all calm down and enjoy a drink and a sandwich after.I personally try to do this all the times even if at our derby vs S. Manor i didn't stay after. It was more to do with the fact i was pissed off with one of my players for letting us down for not turning up on the night and had to shoot off home because my wife wasn't well.Nothing against our Manor cousins and i apologise for that.I'll make sure when they visit us,we'll serve a nice hot meal for them and drinks on Coachie, just to make up. wink

Drinks on Couchy....Hot meal....jesus, I would make a full transfer for that lol

I will hold you to that Coachy....I have the post and time noted!

Agree, I like to think that I am very passionate when I play and I am one of the worst losers ever whether its a match, training or on the Playstation! But what goes on the field should stay there!

Mind you, sometimes it`s not that Easy and as a previous Gaffer once advised me, with football (maybe even life) you need a good 24 hours to clear your head and calm down!
