Makes you wonder where Wivenhoe are finding their money from.

They obviously have found some money, where from i havn`t a clue. Their manager signed a long term contract, Nethercott returned as did Jeff Shepherd plus they have signed plenty of other players.

 

Talking of Shepherd, if he stays at Wivenhoe and plays against us it will be for the third time this season and with three different clubs! That`s got to be some sort of record?

I assume that deduction would have been 3 points had they have won the game, but I wonder what punishment would have been issued had they lost to us at Park Lane?

I`ve already spoke about this in the original thread but i still don`t understand the 1pt deduction, if it was a cup game they would have been removed from the competition.

If we cant get Russel to sign for us at the end of the season then i wonder what the chances are of Mckinney being interested in returning to the Lane?

I think they could be a good shout for the Title next season, they have had a bit of a clear out and i believe they are looking at a couple more good signings too.

Can't see it myself, but wouldn't begrudge them any success they get.
