After Tuesdays magnifciant effort against Farnborough why was the team and formation changed so much for the game against AFC Hayes?

 

Do you feel that the squad we have at the moment has the character for the relegation dogfight we are now involved in?

I can answer some of those:

1) DJ has been working recently

2) No, his registration was cancelled on the 22nd January, although he has since expressed a desire to return.

3) Yes, but Lee is currently experiencing an injury with his achilles.

4) - Don't know

5) John Gray is naturally left footed and has proved an equally capable left sided player.

7) George has resumed light training and is in constant contact with Kevin.

 

We played the same formation on Tuesday to that of Saturday, just with different personnel.

RR - I'm on about the fact that we were always letting goals in during the first 5 minutes of the second half, due to lack of concentration.

any plans of new players or is this the squad to save us?

How many new players do we need? We havent fielded the same side

for two consecutive games all season. As i have said before, at any level of football you need a settled eleven, not chopping and changing every week. Lets hope the players we have got can perform for the last 12 games.

The interview with B&B took place last night and will be prined in full in the Fleet programme on the 23rd Feb. We will have exercepts from the interview on the website during next week once it has been written up.

Whilst George is doing light stuff, I don't think he will be making a return to the playing side this season, so a nice break may be on the cards for him!
