Sorry, he must live in a fantasy world if he thinks he's good enough for that level. IMO he's not even good enough for this level of football.

On the subject of players, on another thread I did ask Gary or Chris why Dave Barratt was not playing on Saturday and have had no reply which is worrying. Was he injured or as someone else suggested dropped?.

I can't imagine he was dropped because IMO he is one of our better players and will be crucial to our survival.

hello RR, am sure Gary will come on here and verify why he was omitted - though the version which was going around behind the goal was that he was being disciplined after a bad reaction to being subbed before. I stress, this is behind-of-goal heresay as i didn't get a chance to ask gary or betts to verify this.

On the note of David Barratt I was talking to Him in the stands on Saturday and He did say that He was fit and ready to play but said that Betts dropped Him for his reaction of walking off against Farnboro Tuesday Night, which I guess was frustration on both parts. Unbeleavable in My eyes becasue Ive stated on many occassions that Players of his ability doesnt come round to often and if we are serious of staying up we need him playing. Best individual player weve got or had this season by far, although on the other hand I do agree with players being disciplined, maybe cut in wages would have been a better idea, most annoying when youve stood and watch a rubbish game like saturday and see some like Barratt watching from the side!

It depends on the level of his reaction to being subbed.

Most players reactions to being subbed are done in the 'heat of the moment'

If he was angry/annoyed/upset, I personally wouldn't see anything wrong with this because it shows the players passion and commitment to the team which is exactly what we need right now.

I would be more concerned if a player being subbed didn't show any of these reactions.
