One for Harry - spelling and grammar on forums

This has just appeared on the MyFC site. I agree totally with the sentiment expressed by this poster.

 

'Now I am not being a pedant here but the quality of spelling, grammar and general usage of the English language on some of these election posts is frankly shocking.

 

I am not picking out anyone in particular, nor members who do not have English as their first language.

 

From reading through the election manifesto threads, I have decided not to vote for anyone who cannot express themselves in the correct manner.'

And yet we elected a man as our President who can't speak the language ... twice. Makes me wonder why I remain a teacher. Oh yeah, it must be for the money.

Be thankful, the UK have a Prime Minister that wasn't even included in the election process!

My post is getting ripped to pieces on there saying that it is not imprortant to be able to read and write properly.
