Made it in the end. A dull game with goals from seeds, chenns and Willo.

 

Highlights- The covering behind one goal, One of the benches nearly getting tipped over and Mrs Stevens educating everyone on how Milly, Grace and Ruby came into the world!!

 

Lowlights- There was a football match involved!

For those with marginally more interest in the football part, there is a report at the Abingdon site...

 

Not sure about the colours though. Strangely familiar.

A slightly scrappy game. Windsor took the lead in the opening minute, not sure what happened as we were walking behind the stand at the time.

 

We had a couple of half chances to extend the lead before they equalised, it came out of nowhere, long ball forward and suddenly the ball was rolling into the back of the net, didn't really see what was happening as we were discussing who should be eliminated from The One and Only!

 

In fact we were still discussing The One and only when Chens netted the 2nd. The ball sort of bobbled about on the edge of the area for a while, Chens looked to have been fouled but despite our best efforts to persuade him to "Fall Over" he steadied himself and lashed the ball into the net with his left foot.

 

We sealed the win about mid way through the 2nd half, again can't really remember quite what happened as the conversation had moved onto discussing the repercussions of giving birth at Wexham Park Hospital, anyway it looked like Chens flicked the ball on and Williams finished.

 

Windsor dominated the rest of the game and the result never looked in doubt.

 

All in all a nice afternoon out in the sunshine, I thought Joe had a good game and Jake Parsons was impressive again.
