For anyone that is interested I have put below a copy of my nomination to the Myfc board. This is not an ego trip for me and I would encourage other genuine Fleet fans who are members to apply. I would like to think that we will get some representation on the board and if I am successful i would like to forward suggestions fron members on here. Thanks and best wishes:

Number on Board vote: 11

 

 

I would like to nominate myself for the trust board as I believe I can make a real difference to the long term success and progression of Ebbsfleet United Football Club.

 

I have supported 'The Fleet' since the age of 6, when my father took me to my first game in 1973. I am currently a season ticket holder and Fleet Trust member. I am delighted that the Myfc takeover happened to my club and had no hesitancy in voting yes to secure our future. Having seen the subsequent financial reports I am just delighted that 'The Fleet' now have the opportunity of a secure future and one which I hope my children can enjoy as much as I have in the past.

 

Firstly, it would be an honour to be on the board. I want to do it for no other reason than my love of 'The Fleet'. I would refuse any financial gain and instead either put it back into the club or donate to charity. I am an extremely passionate and loyal individual who would fight tooth and nail to make sure all projects are completed successfully with the desired results. I would lead from the front and do whatever it takes to ensure Ebbsfleet United get the recognition it rightfully deserves. I am hardworking and would volunteer my services to take the club to the people within the local community. Marketing the club to local potential supporters is where I see myself gaining most success.

 

In my current role as a sales and marketing manager, I work closely with an international client base ensuring their products are put in front of prospective customers. I work with each individual client looking at the most effective route to market. Whether it be from magazine advertising, flyers, emails or direct mail. I make sure that every potential customer receives something that appeals to them. This is no different when marketing Ebbsfleet United. It's all down to features and benefits.

 

I honestly believe that with my sales and marketing experience and hands on approach I would be an invaluable member of the board pushing the club into the community and in turn help raise the clubs profile and attendances.

Just kidding. I did not come over here to ask for the votes. No, no. I know that I won't get any votes anyways. It's so sad that you feel like you really need to do something but you don't know what you can do to help.

Oh sorry for being off topic, DA11 has my vote, only one unfortunately as that's all I have got.

But it's sad that even that won't make much difference. Having him on the Board, I mean.
