TRADITIONAL RIVALS

As a new fan and just to get a better appreciation for the club, who are Ebsfleet's traditional rivals?

Rank them 1-3 in order of ire and an explanation would probably enlighten the 'johnny come latelies'.

From reading the Forum, Gillingham and Dartford appear to rate right up there.

I'm sure others can expand on the whys and wherefores... I need to go do some work!

Agree totally on all 4 points...

Nose back to the grindstone...

Oddly, Grays and the Daggers have never been that detested by us (not as far as I can see).

Gills is an obvious one.

Definately Gills.

Wasn't the biggest fan of that bloke with the bell at Grays.

Agree about not detesting them though, although it was always great to beat them, Always had a pretty good time at their grounds

If it's stupid away fans you're after, look no further than 'crutches' boy away at St Albans last season.

Some fat, 14 year old kid on crutches giving it proper large. I think he started crying when De Bolla got the last minute winner. Classic.

Personally, I cannot stand Aldershot and everything about them but that's just me.

Dartford and Maidstone would be the traditional one's, but with their current standings it's hard to mantain a real rivarly. Similarly we've got Gillingham but i'm not sure how much they care about us! Haven't got any real rivals in this league, just whoever happens to be closest frown

Well, they are making a bit of a pig's a*se out of a swift return to League Football aren't they ?

Greggy Dick stated that in 5 years time AFC Gravesend maybe EUFC's local rivals. I would say that it would probably be more like Bromsgrove, Worcester or Halesowen, once MyFC have decided to relocate so that the club is more central ( excuse the pun !)to their members !

Cheers,

One season maybe... don't think any games after that ever got even close to the intensity of that season and became little more than we enjoy with Grays now.
