First of all I would like to introduce myself as iandavis30. I joined MYFC from the beginning and have been watching this forum since the Ebbsfleet anouncment was made. I have now decided to join in all the banter that goes on here, I would like to think of myself as a true football fan and belief that a football club should be run for the good of the fans and the local community and not for fat cat get rich quick owners that seem to be taking over our beautiful game. I do not belief in all of the MYFC's ideas, I am very secptical about picking the team for Liam Daish, I think he should be doing that. I also think that the existing supporters, the ones who have watched The Fleet through good and bad, should be given an equal say on how the club is run. Not just a load of outsiders, some with no knowledge of the game itself.

 

So with that in mind I would like to offer myself as a voice within MYFC for the true fans of Ebbsfleet. No this is not an election manifesto to get onto the Trust Board. I just feel that real fans should be given a bigger say in the running of the club.

 

I have not yet voted on the Nike shirt deal, personally I do not like Nike and all they stand for. So I would like to offer my vote to you the Ebbsfleet fans. I know my 1 vote will probably not make a difference, it's like the blind leading the blind in there sometimes, but it is important to me to find out how you guys feel about the new shirt deal, I believe that there was a new shirt just recently. Let me know which way you would like me to vote, and if yes to the deal which shirts ?

 

As for future votes if you want me to use my vote for you please say so.

i personally feel that takin selection from LD would be a step backwards for the fleet, givin the extremly fantastic job iv noticed he's had over the past 2 seasons!! iv been lookin into joinin MYFC for some time and have been followin the fleet and this forum since the takeover. tho not joined as of yet because of the clear concerns of most of the people on here. Im quickly bein converted from a big neutral football fan to a fleet fan an this aint cos of MYFC but the passion of the fans on here!!

ah yes trebsy...we are only allowed to ask certain questions...awkward ones for which there is no answer are frowned upon...

Got to say it is very sanitised on there, and there are so many different forums I'm never really certain where to post.

Seconded. It's a proper forum with people who know what they are talking about and are not hyper sensitive to a bit of pi$$taking or banter.

 

I have just unwittingly waded right into a row on MyFC with a complete knobhead. Thread deletions, spologies, all sorts.

 

If it happened on here, it would get sorted outside the club bar prematch.

 

Everyone else seems to think he is a knobhead as well which shows some good judgement I suppose.

I don't know where he is from but it is not this planet.

 

The insults are childish at best.

 

It all happened on someone's thread to be elected to the board so I have shown some restraint and respect because the person campaigning was not involved in any way.

 

It's easy pickings once he posts on a general thread thread though.

 

He's a total muppet and has really got my back up.

 

I even sent an email complaining about him to the mods which is something I have never done before.

 

Fear not though, I am becoming assimilated in all this but he really is a grade A twat.

 

I'd pay £35 for him to be banned to be honest. Chrisblanc could have the login :-)
