ot Club or country

Went to Wembley last night. Free ticket, free food and drink but a dreary night. To me it doesn't compare to seeing Slough and especially after the passion of Tuesday night.

 

I'd say club every time.

but that's because new wembley is pretty souless! I had a free ticket to england germany the day of Windsor burnham and i'll never do it again! Reminds me just why i don't bother to go to league football!! Don't get me started on the 'fans' i see at games. I'll be here forever! Needless to say the 'Singing' zone is the most awful place in London!

club everytime and never league, i spent and wasted too long watching spoilt brats who dont give a stuff about anything except money,thats the thing about watching slough, i know we need the points but id rather us play like we did tuesday and lose and play negatively and win 1-0 etc

playing with pride and passion because it means something.

Amber Rebel you can't be serious can you? You'd rather lose and play well than play rubbish but win???!!! In an ideal world yeah we'd play superb footy and win, but we're fighting for our lives and a win is a win however it's done! I think most fans would rather have the points than standard of play this season.

i meant in a general sense if we were safe, if we werent facing relegation,sorry if it was unclear, i think ive mentioned before the need to play defensively in this league to grind out draws and scrappy wins,
but as a general principle i still would rather watch two sides play entertaining football, thats why i think i would rather see farnboro win the league instead of fleet as fleet certainly seem to represent imo poor sportsmanship in the game,

I was also there last night, sitting behind the goal which England attacked in the second half, and that was a very uninspiring game, it was very quiet.

Club everytime i think, especially after tuesday, and much prefer the support at STFC than at Wembley.
