It's probably a flaw in my character, Tony. You know the kid at school who is good at everything and everyone fawns over them and you absolutely hate them. Plus I can never forget that wink at his bench after he got Wazza sent off, plus he has all that talent but still cheats by diving.

 

Drogba whinges all the time because he plays for Chelsea and they all seem to be taught to do that. Don't get me started on all that clustering around the ref - don't get me started on Terry's total unfitness for the England captaincy because of that too.

 

But being greedy is not a bad thing in a striker.

Based on players I've been to see this season and who have really stood out

Rob Green

Micah Richards

Kenwyn Jones

 

I'm biased obviously but think Rob Green should have been in the Engalnd squad this week, really solid every game and saved 3 penalties! Micah Richards is really soild defensively and fast going forward. Kenwyn Jones also very quick and dangerous.

 

Overall I'd have to go with Ronaldo much as I detest him. I did see him this season but he had a fairly ordinary game (although scored a goal) and missed a penalty.

A bit premature about Bullard aren't we, how many games has he played? me thinks a little bias is beginning to show. I am not a United fan but there is no doubt who is the outstanding Premiership performer week in and week out, got to be Ronaldo !!
