Did hear a rumour that our big Thameside Trophy game away at Brimsdown (?) Rovers will be on Tues 26 Feb - Don't miss it!!!

I see some bloke called David Beckham played for Brimsdown Rovers youth team for a couple of years.

I heard a rumour that the Eastern Floodlit Cup wasn't being run this year. The last couple of times we entered there were enough teams to make it worthwhile with the group stages (12 I think), last year they only had about half that.

I say bring back the J T Clarke Memorial Trophy ! We won that one year during the 70's

What about the Fred Budden Trophy? Thats a proper cup competition! I believe the winners of that this year are rewarded with a Champions League place.

It is, yes. The plan is that the winner of this years competition will go into a head to head match with the winners of the League of Wales. The winner of that game will then go into the play offs (this is where the Premiership 4th placed club comes into it) for a place in the group stages.

Another good cup competition was the Berkhamsted cup a few years ago, we lost that on a penalty shoot out, Nicky Cropper putting a pen into the river. If it had been at the other end it would have been on the Euston to Manchester express !!

Eastern Floodlit cup from last season carried over to this season.

Winners of Maldon v Stansted Q/Final v Tilbury in the Semi/final will play Southend Manor in the final if it ever gets played.
