I'm only going to be able to make a few matches each year as it is (my first two or three will be this April). But I think most MyFC members believe that season-ticket holders should always get priority.

Good to hear, rsheard - kinda figured from reading your posts you would reply sensibly... But, you would be in a distinct minority, especially among the UK based MyFC members.

I hope that doesn't turn out to be the case, Pat. Long before Ebbsfleet was announced as the club to be purchased, there were many MyFC discussions on just such topics, and the general tenor of the debate was that season-ticket holders should always get priority. I hope that sentiment doesn't ever change. I'll be disappointed in the whole endeavor if it does change.

I've just got to figure out some way to get a job over there so I can justify buying a season ticket for next season.

Well I am hopefully going by coach if everything gets sorted out. But that was a kind gesture of allowing me to travel up there with you. Maybe take you up on the offer sometime for a future away game.

Buy one anyway - am sure there are plenty of Fleet fans who would look after it for you till ya manage to get over for a game!

This ticket talk is nonsense. The way I see it is that a trophy final would get around 30,000 tickets allocated. 400 or so would go to season ticket holders. There would be an aloccation for players familys etc.... and that would leave 29,000

75 % to MYFC 25% to other shareholders

Problem sorted.

MYFC needs to remember that thay are not EUFC they happen to belong to a trust that owns 75% of the shares in EUFC.

Probably will bring my Nintendo DS aswell. I tell you Worms Open Warfare 2 is so addictive^^

Don't worry I wasn't going to ask how you knew. Probably for the best^^

Oh and about the whole allocation of tickets debate. I am in the camp of it should be season ticket holders should take priority and then it should be first come first served. That is the right way to do it. And surely MyFC wouldn't want to pee off the long supporting fans.

But it means that 25% are not in the MYFC world. Thats the key issue. A lot of regulars are worried about this. There is never goign to be a fair allocation system. I guess it will be voucher based for home games if it ever happened. But a lot of people who go week in week out will be seriousley narked if they didnt get a ticket due to Johnny Foreigner deciding to take his vactaion early

Thats the issue PATMAN. Many see it now as a ME ME ME project and not an US US US project.

If people want to sit on there [****!!****] for so long and not be bothered to get involved be that talking openly on forums, getting involved at the ground , offering to write and item for the fanzine (if it gets relaunched), logging into see scores and so on then that is their choice.

When the glory days arrive , then dont expect to jump on the plane get to the game and walk round saying "I own this club". We all own it , every supporter , member or not, who gets involved in whatever level they are capable off.

I have no more to say on this subject

As for my season ticket, very generous of you to watch over it. wink

As a school teacher, however, I'm not likely to spring for that purchase until I can actually use it. Anyone have next week's winning lottery numbers handy?

Riverview, the original question Pat posed for me was a 3rd round FA Cup match against a big club, where the Fleet's ticket allocation would be just 3,000 tickets.

Don't know where you get this idea from Pat. I haven't come across a MyFC Member yet (apart from an extreme idiotic minority) who would think of putting him/herself in front of a long standing Fleet fan or a season ticket holder. I certainly would expect all Fleet fans both season ticket holders and those like Emily who get to most games but can't run to a season ticket to be at the front of the queue for any so-called 'big' games. arrr

Lord H - having read through some of the 'manifestos' for those wishing to be on the MyFC board - I think that minority are hoping to be selected!
And you really think that MyFC members would be happy to miss out on a big, possibly televised game? Yeah, right!

I have some shares...thought I was doing my bit for the club by
purchasing some....now you tell me that I am not a real fan ! I wish you had told me a while back....I could have saved myself a few bob !!

I have a season ticket too.....I suppose that doesn't make me a real fan either ? as I don't pay cash at the gate !!

Cheers,

Season-ticket holders also get a number of priority tickets for such eventualities.

Sod altruism, I will be selling mine to the highest bidder... wink
