Where could i find

Hi mdet.

Nothing whatsoever to do with me. I wasn't at Fisher, either.

It's a striuggle trying to keep pace with the thread, mdet. Knowing nothing about gambling, I would have thought that rather than double the bet, it might be more appropriate to offer odds.

mdet.

This thread will do.

Lease renewal. Landlord and tenant. Expiry of 25 year occupational lease. Notices and Counter-notices served. All the legal stuff. Self-contained building. Registered land.

Terms agreed between respective International Real Estate Consultants. Heads of Terms circulated April 11th, 2002. Yes, that's right. 2002.

Now mdet. I recall that you have a rudimentary knowledge of the Law. How long do you think it should take for a new lease to be completed in those circumstances? 28 days a little optimistic? Yes, a little. Two months? Not three, surely?

Go on. Have a guess.

You see, mdet. That demonstrates just how rudimentary is your knowledge.

If you seek a career in the Law. mde, you will realise fairly early on that, as far as clients are concerned, lawyers know absolutely everything and other Consultants know nothing. If the Lawyer says. "Oooooh. A little tricky this one", a glazed look comes over the client because.........they know that they wouldn't understand. Best left to the professional. The lawyer. If he/she says "this could take a while", then it will.

It's like the old 28 days between exchange and completion. Why? Because the Lawyer says that it should take 28 days between exchange and completion. There's an awful lot of work to do between exchange and completion.

Query? You must be joking. The Lawyer knows best.

Anyway mdet. your guess of 369 days is wrong. It hasn't completed yet. Soon, no doubt. I'll let you know.
