I thought we were excellent last night. Horsham were on a good run but we dominated them to such an extent that in the end all they could do was try and kick us off the park.

 

MOTM for me was Blackie, that role looks tailor-made for him and I really hope he can take his opportunity to settle down with us.

 

Ideally I wish we could have scored a couple more to better reflect our superiority but as was pointed out, when did we ever do anything the easy way?

 

On to Leyton on Saturday. Let's hope we can keep up the pressure on those above us.

Last nights game ,was one of the best matches I've seen in along while down at new lodge....I watched the game unfold ....with a smile on my face...totally relaxed even though,we were only 1 nil up....Great goal from Burbs....even though at first I thought he was going to head it ....what a volley..... our passing was good ,players running into space ,and taking horsham players with them.....what attacks horsham had , we broke them down or rather our back four.for me Michael Black was like a terrier,chasing players down,M O M.....WHAT can you say about Hodgie.....outstanding...horsham had no answer to him darting about all over the pitch......Bradley worked hard and was unlucky not to score......but hey we're fifth.....now if we can terrorise the leyton defence on saturday ....and score more than chelmo....did against them.........jason and grant should be congratulated on our recent form.....

Really enjoyed the match last night, disappointing crowd thou.

 

Great win for Riccay and that lifts you higher. Incrediable considering you have lifted from the relegation places. A play off place is now a must. About 15 Clarets there and cheering every Riccay attempt.

 

Horsham were suprisingly poor, they had no response to your attacks and couldn't break the defence down. Hodges was untouchable and surely was MOM ????, if not a crime!!!!

 

Loved the chorous of 'chelmsford we can't here you sing' and was going to reply 'we are top of the league' but thye moment was lost when I stopped laughing!!!!

 

Another great midweek match, thoroughly enjoyed and of course the result as well!!!!!!!!!..

Hee, hee...thats Ok, we all found it amusing and TBH good fun. The Clarets do tend to be noisier away then at home......anyway we out sung you at NL and provided your biggest league crowd.... tongue

Mainly Clarets at both grounds ....heehee.... tongue

 

More reasons as why it would great if we went both up. I have always said the derby games at NL and MP have been the best!!
