One word

Aggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

So frustrating...

When are we going to get some luck? Yes you could argue that positive football won out at the end of the day, but when you are scrapping for points at the bottom and trying to hold onto precious points the luck does not seem to go your way - and especially Slough's way EVER.

Positive points though is that I thought the commitment was first class. Daly rolled back the years and Barnard made some world class saves late on and Meddie was a rock in front of the back four.

Realy, really pleased with the way our attack looks as well Dave Thomas and John Gray were excellent and Davies and Barratt linked-up really well.

If we play like that for the rest of the season we'll be fine, if we play s we did against Bracknell were in trouble. Roll on Saturday...

have to agree with everything said there chris, what an advert for non-league football, good that farnborough came to play football and both sides played really well, and a good ref imo which makes a change, we were really commited and the team worked so hard for each other, i think Dave thomas looks an exciting prospect ive seen him at uxbridge and he was really good, Daly looked a tower of strength, i dont think anyone had a bad game, Davies work rate was awesome chasing everything,Barney was world class as usual, well done everyone, good turnout from farnborough, see them laughing at some of the comments from the rebels fans.

Bring on brook house, i mean afc hayes

Thought we were going to get turned over again before the game - but now just gutted that we did not pick up any points from one of our best performances of the season.

The front line with Terry, Dave & Dave is looking dangerous and that must now mean we will pick up points here on in.

Pity the Farnborough fans were so quiet as it could have been an even better atmospher.

Gutted just like at Windsor, either Farnborough have got a lot worse after our vist to their place or we have vastly improved, glad to say I think its the latter. We have nothing to be ashamed off the team spirit and commitmentat the moment is great. I fear that unless lady luck pays us a visit once in a while we are going to be in dire straights at the end of the season despite our best efforts.

Despite the result, best Slough performance for a very long time. Every player gave 110% tonight and none of them could be faulted for their effort tonight. We deserved a point but we tired as the game wore on and you cannot say that that third goal wasnt coming.

However we need to keep this up through all the games if we are to stay up.

Up the Rebels, a fantastic effort!

Very gutting. I think Farnborough certainly deserved all three points as they piled on the pressure and forced us into some desperate (but superb) defending.

But to come away from the game feeling disappointed that we didn't take something from Farnborough is probably as good a sign as any that we've improved a lot.

They are a class side and I'm pleased with how we coped with them for large parts of the game.

Lots of players deserve credit, I thought Davies led the line superbly and Harper, Daly and Riddell were all immense at the back. Riddell will be gutted to have conceded that free kick for 2-2 but he made some superb challenges throughout.

Superb first goal with the cross from Gray, who looks a good find.

Plenty of positives but we must produce the goods against AFC Hayes on Saturday.

Difficult to reconcile Slough lowly position in table with the performance against Farnborough witnessed tonight. I thought Slough fought very hard indeed and were unlucky not to come away with at least a point. It is a cruel game at times. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Best entertainment I’ve seen down Holloways Park all season. I missed the away drubbing but Farnborough look quality on that showing; they played some lovely stuff in tricky conditions. Slough battled really well, some heroic defending near the end there but it just wasn’t enough. If the boys show the same level of commitment and endeavour for the rest of the season I think we’ll just about be all right.

Cheers

Mark
