Luke: (Arriving home.) I'm back, Mum. We won again. Can Chukki & John stay for tea?

 

Luke's Mum: (Absently, busy at the oven, getting tea ready) That's nice dear. Get your friends a drink. (Looks up from her cooking & is suddenly concerned.) What have you done to your head? Come here & let me have a look at that.

 

Luke: (Embarrassed in front of his mates, who are trying to hide their sniggers.) It's nothing, Mum, get off!! I got a bit of a knock when we were celebrating the goal, that's all - and you two can stop laughing too!

 

Luke's Mum: How many times have I told you not to go near those rough boys. I bet it was that Stacey or Neil. You know how they can be. I'm going to ring that Mr Daish & ask him to have a word with their mothers right now....
