With Melvin's alleged best friend Regan brandishing a yellow card to Jay on Saturday for a non contact infringement it has resulted in Jay getting his 5th yellow. Therefore, he will be available to take his wife shopping at Bluewater on the 16th February when we are playing Staines.

 

Unfortunatley, as I think Dan Young will not be back from injury Louis Smith will just have to play at centre half as he is the next best one we have for that position.

Can't the club use the video footage from the game to appeal against this.

From where I was sitting (pretty close to the incident) there was absolutely no contact.

Jay definitely didn't touch the bloke (today's TT report agrees) so if the incident was filmed the club should use it. Another local club (Dover I think) recently used video evidence to get a card (probably red, rather than yellow) cancelled.

Louis has not gone down in my estimation. If anyone saw the skill he showed in the game against Chatham in bringing that ball out then they will not doubt his ability. He has also never let the club down this or last season.

I wondered why Regan looked to the camera before brandishing a yellow instead of the Red he had in his hand. Camera shy was he

Well Louis has never let us down, nothing to do with being not a great lover of Jake. My view (as is yours) is objecive though and not a mates view.

I am not a mate Buzzgate, have just followed his progress thro the reserves and think he deserves a chance thats all. I agrre about Louis too, good to think Trotty has such a choice.

Louis is a good defender, and I would trust him to do a job for us. Have not seen enough of Eastwood to make an informed judgment yet.
