I managed to vote twice for Stacy - on my home pc and on my MDA phone.

It does have it's uses, Harry!

Seriously, the whole thing is rigged to give the award to the club with most fans, in particular those with access to the internet.

In the past we may have had the best and most deserving player, but would be beaten by a better supported club.

With 27,000 new on-line supporters, one would hope that this time Stacy will get his just reward.

Jeff, glad you liked it. The point I was trying to make was that any poll, whoever wins, if it is allowed for people to vote again after an hour or so is badly set up. A general election where you could vote every hour would be fun.

 

Anyway, Stacy didnt win, glad you enjoyed my comment for whatever reason, and we ( if I am allowed to use the word we ) move on.

Yorkfox, you will probably take offence to this post but I don't really care.

Why did you feel the need to thank us, were fans of the club. We didn't vote for you or for MyFC or to make MyFC look good, we voted because we know how hard Stacey has been working recently and for what a good player he is. By you saying 'thanks' to us shows to me that you see yourself as some sort club mediator, you're not, you have no more power than the rest of us. You may hold rank in MyFC but you hold no rank with me, the rest of the fans or the club.

I tell you it is a travesty as Stacy has been in such great form and deserves a little bit more recognition that he gets. Oh well it is not the end of the world as he is the player of the month in our eyes and that is all that matters.
