Strange that you mention that. During one of the first Trust meetings with big Tone, he mentioned that he had spoken to Boreham Wood about buying them out, and that in his humble opinion the ground and it's surrounds did show great potential for housing. I kid you not.

The original advert said the site had a 'rebuild potential' of £5m. In fairness, it did also suggest that the site could be suitable for football.
