Funny game. First-half we were extremely poor and lucky to only be a goal down half-time with Neville Roach and Mark Nicholls missing several good opportunities.

Turning point in the game for me was the introduction of Laurence Brown. Added bite to the midfield and allowed Suarez to push forward into a more attacking position and Dave Barratt into a forward role allongside Terry Davies, which gave us a much, much better shape and we began to look a lot more dangerous.

Still think we desperately need someone on the left and would love to see Lee Rendell back and also a targetman to play allongside Davies.

Indeed a bit of a strange game, but a very good point well deserved after the second half where we looked quite dangerous. We created a couple of chances in the first half, it wasnt great and we were a bit lucky, but it was still better than the majority of last weekends match.

A definate improvement all round but the defence is still shaky.

Well done to Dave Barrat a well taken goal after good work from Terry.

Next game will be interesting, Farnborough are probably the best team in the league but I would like to see us give them a run for their money.

In other news, Bracknell lost 3-0 at Didcot today.

but again points on the board is better than games in hand

andover in shocking form so lets hope they keep losing

well worth a point in the end i thought

would have been seriously annoyed had we taken nothing from the game

defence was much much better i thought. only 3 or 4 times did we let them charge down the wings without a defender in sight (you know the usual thing we see repeatedly)

Laurence Brown seemed to give the team better shape have to agree. also though Meddie was top class today and covered for the defenders really well when needed

the new guy put in quite a few decent balls and was promising

abby tried hard but up front really aint his position

with a bit of luck slough could have nicked it but i think 1-1 was fair

1 great strike from barrat went so close and terry had a free kick wizzed inches wide

all in all a much better performance from last week

good performance, thought daly was good at the back, better defensively, thought we tried too much lumping the ball forward where we didnt have the height, good substitution with brown having some neat passes out on the wing where we looked dangerous, agree with someone who said we needed a target man upfront to support davies who worked his socks off. Richard barnard as usual was magnificent who without we could have lost, he made a stunning save towards the end.

well done Rebels a well earned point.

Agree with previous reports, it was a much Better performance today than last week. It just seemed the players wanted it more and had a real hunger to dig in which was great to see from the sideline. Posisties was Daily, done really well defensivly winning everything that was thrown at Him and was pleased to see Him with His armband on, Again saw Barratts qualities today with His overall play, fantastic shot and then to top it off His goal which was well worked by another top performer Terry Davis. Overall the point was well earnt and it did satisfy, yet again good slough fan turnout.

well that was a real game of 2 halfs by Slough !

1st very flat / playing with no zest.. that ll changed in the 2nd half ..more fighting play , better tackling , more football on the ground, the defence looked more organised and a real sense Slough were going to get something from the game, and the goal when it came was a delight , great play by Tery Davis with a great ball to Dave Barett to place the ball under the body of the uxbridge goal keeper ( who was not to beaten in the air today) overall if slough continue to make this kind of progress and know and belive they are capable to get a few more wins and points we should stave off relagation ..it will need for all the dig deep and also our supporters to really lift the team ...

a gritty performance ...well done ..up the rebels...

Yeah, echoing what everyone else has said really. Meddie was again a massive player for us (except his one aberation near the end when Barney had to pull off a wonder save). Laurence Brown made a massive difference when he came on and I've been really impressed with him in centre mid over the last two matches. Dave Barratt is class as is Terry and they both showed some magic today, especially second half. Liked the look of the new guy and Suarez when pushed forward.

Two brilliant things from today; one from Slough with the Nicholls song to 'If I had the wings of a sparrow'. Loved it!!! And one from match of the day where during the Portsmouth Chelsea came the camera focused on Ashley as the Pompey fans were singing 'Where's Your Cheryl Gone' and the commentator quite rightly pointed out 'Well you've got to expect abuse really, especially when you're playing away from home'!!! Top bloke!!!!!

God knows what they put in their half time drinks but the team were transformed in the second half. Uxbridge are solid and well organised, and punting in high balls against their 6 foot defenders was never going to work.

It's great to have Terry back - he brings a bit of class and will always shoot, and everyone started passing the ball round in the second half. Of course once we scored, the players had to give supporters a few minutes of heart attacks - but what a save from Barney.

Looking forward to Tuesday, let's get a great atmosphere going and try and nick some points off Farnborough.

Thoroughly enjoyed the match.

We pushed Uxbridge back, we had a fighting spirit, and good team cohesion. Everyone got stuck in, and a great finger tip save by Barny.

You would never have guessed that we were playing a team who were fifth in the league.

Even though it was only a draw, it felt as if we had won it.

Great job lads.

Roll on Tuesday.
