Saunders replaced by Eastwood

Try not to panic Margateshot. It happens to the best at the top achso

My beloved Dobla is arguing from the bench. He's nothing if not consistant.

Wellsie, Dobla is very 'vocal' and goodlooking and will be the one shouting a lot. Ruthers is taller, good looking and more quietly vocal wink

George Borg now at Wealdstone, i wanted him to be our manager frown

Shame the Margate crowd are starting to leave early. Not a bad attendance today just under 500. From the commentary Gate have put up a good performance. achso

Problem is Jane is that the 495 from today will be less than 400 for the next home game.

Poor result and a win from a team whom almost certainly will be in Div 1 next season. With the injuries too, not a good day for the blues!!

Wait til you play us! grin

Thinking seriously about it. Look at the table tonight. I'd rather be in your position. You had your budget cut for this season so i'd say you are doing pretty well. You are still managing to get decent players in. Take heart. The team put on a good performance. It will come. On balance of probablities you should be fodder by now. Imagine how it feels from our perspective? shocked

Poor performance from the lads today and when you consider that Hastings (apart from their number 7) were nothing special then this is an even worse result then first seems. Pinnocks goal was superb and we were unlucky not to score, but with our overall performance we didn't deserve anything. What let us down more then anything was the passing.

We need to put todays performance behind us and move on, as i beleive we are still in a good position to reach the play-offs.

Almost everything about today was lacklustre. As you say June, Pinns finish was superb but his (and Charlie's) supply streams were poor. Never a lot you can do when the ball is played to you feet with your back to goal and a defender right up your backside. In general the passing was bad all over the pitch.

The ref had a shocker too. Jay was nowhere near their player whjen he picked up his yellow and I am not sure how Hastings were given a free kick for offside after their 'keepers fine save from Martin.

But that does not detract from the fact that we were very poor other than the first half of the second period.

Hastings winner was controversial as it should've been a goal kick not a corner, and Hastings scored of the resulting corner, nevermind. Don't think we put enough effort in really, go again at Tonbridge though.

Up the gate!
