Martin, not trying to hide anything from you, but there were some sensitive issues discussed last night which would at present be inappropriate to go public with yet.

I'd documented the majority of the items which were raised and will publish this when it is more appropriate.

I'd also ask of anyone who was at the meeting, to be very careful with what they post please. I will be very heavy handed and remove postings on this subject if they contain certain information, so I apologise in advance.

I was asked not to publicise certain things from the meeting. It will come out within the space of a week, and it will be well documented on the website.

Anonymous, there were issues discussed which need to be taken up with appropriate people first before it goes public, otherwise they would find out on here before it had been discussed with them and it's not right to do it that way. I think that's fair enough.

I normally post under a real name but I would prefer to remain anonymous on this occasion. I have to say I can't understand the point of having a PUBLIC meeting if points are then going to be withheld from people too unfortunate to not be able to get there. If things were discussed in front of some fans then why are others being kept out of the loop. I am a big fan of this website and people such as yourself Gary but I feel that this is unfair to those people who couldn't make the meeting when we were told previously we would be informed of its content.

I think you'll already find Gary that the main discussion points of that meeting are already doing the rounds.....

You do have a point but likewise the fans that couldn't get there will make it up if they don't know....hard to choose which action would be more appropriate.......

I'd probably come down on your side...someone has to make decisions and others must trust that the people that make them do so for the right reasons....

Not my business I know and all the joking aside...I genuinely hope that it all works out well..........STFC is a good club with a good fan base......Good Luck...

(hope you draw on saturday by the way..!!....)

All, the information will be on the website hopefully by Saturday evening at the latest if not before.

The only reason I've held back is so the STSA members, Chris Sliski and Mike Lightfoot, can at least start conversations with the people they need to before all the content goes public.

I appreciate it is frustrating for those who couldn't make it, but it will be up in due course, and if I could have done it by now, believe me, I would have it up and open to the public.

Please try and appreciate where I am coming from on this, as I do with your comments.

In addition, I'm typing up the notes I took last night this evening, and will publish as much information as I can on the website this evening.

Again I apologise for withholding CERTAIN information, but it is for the best in the short term.

Is this withheld info good news or bad news for STFC, or a mix of both? Can't you give a hint?

Just read the minutes of the meeting Gary will post these asap.....

But if we are going to succeed, WHAT EVER ! Our loyal supporters are going to have to make mountainous efforts to support the club , this may include putting your hands in your pockets and getting them dirty.........for ever.....its all our club !

Thanks to Gary for his notes ....

cheers chris

see you all tomorrow...... Up the Rebels......

Gary was you at the same meeting as me? or did something happen after the meeting ended?. I thought that Chris & Mike were not going to talk to you know who until after next weeks meeting.

What's your point?

It was decided that Chris & Mike would talk with you-know-who AFTER the meeting on 17th.

In the meantime, all supporters of Slough Town need to consider in what way(s) they can positively support the club over the next few years in order to secure its continued development.

Roger, what do you mean? Certain things which were discussed had to be actioned before being put into a public arena.

Don't forget, if something goes on here which upsets certain individuals, it's the club who gets screwed over which is why we have to be careful with what goes on here.

Cheers Gary, the notes you put up are fine, did not want to start any bickering. Now let's concentrate on the football for a couple of days.
