Says it all really.

I think you may be exaggerating somewhat - I merely clipped his ankle. Hardly disgusting!

He was the first to apologise for his behaviour as we sat the rest of the game out. There were no hard feelings between us and he said it was totally out of character.

Ironically the same Kentish Town player was playing and scored the winner if I remember correctly.

Where's the justice in that!!!!!???????

You both deserved the red card! Did you appeal the card as that might have delayed the suspension.

Might sound a silly question but could someone explain to me what a punch up at the Amthill v Kentish game last season has to do with the Div One run in this season ??11

Or perhaps I'm just not clued up to these sorta things !!

Southmidsfan - As you were the Ampthill Captain on the day last season if I recall you should have known better. There was no need to clip his ankle although he was running rings around you at the time so I suppose you felt it was the only way you could stop him, I bet you rubbed your hands on your walk back to the dressing room when the Referee brandished the red card.

I'd say Johnson was better at the moment...

Greg Dyke - I meant to pick you up on this post as although you made it with good intentions statistics can often be misleading. Alan Dicks was the longest serving manager in the game at the time he finally left Bristol City in September 1980 and nobody can hold a candle to him let alone Gary 'who' Johnson.

Yes but he wasn't at Craven Cottage long enough to show what he could do, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time
