Billericay Town FC vote of the week!

I believe that the club and Nathan have both moved on. Whilst I like Nathan and would welcome him back, should that ever happen, he would have to earn his right to play in a team who's form has been brilliant over the last 5 games...

...and therefore I would question if there is a place for him in the team...

...I would also go as far to say that we should be looking forward, not backwards in improving the team. I would suggest that as a full time professional, Nathan would be thinking the same about his own career...

...So the short answer would be...no.

.... eh? A league club player wouldn't walk straight into a Mid table RP Team? laugh

Nathan should still be good enough for professional football. IF he leaves brighton finding a new club at league 2 level should be easy for him.

Personally i'd rather not see him back at New Lodge, cos if we do, it will mean he hasnt suceeded at Professional football

Obviously Local Fan has nothing better than to "rip" into my opinions...And I will underline this...

MY OPINION!!!

Jason and Grant have a long term plan to improve our season and the squad. if we do not make the play off's and win promotion this season, then I expect them to take their plans further...

Would a player of Nathan's profile be motivated enough to play for us or any Non league team? I doubt it.

But this is all conjecture. Nathan has been signed to Brentford. Some people should not judge their own clubs "culture" to let their club manager's large wallet to buy players motivation to move further on and improve their careers against other clubs "culture" of moving on and improving themselves as well as the players careers.

Whereas, in some ways, I look forward to day when the money drys up at Chelmsford and they falter and possibly have to start again a la Canvey Island, another part of me feels that this sentiment is unfair to those that did support the club during their lean years when they were here at New Lodge and don't suffer from the intollerable attitude of the said gentleman.
