My understanding was the capacity was 4098 , even with the Plough end closed. Isn't the capacity related to the ability to clear the ground in a certain time, ie dependant on exit routes, etc? I haven't seen any new exits built so logic would suggest 4098 it still it.

Splitting hairs, really, because I cannot see another Canvey game on the horizon, unless we make the Trophy semi finals.

Quick update on this. Posted by Lexy on the MYFC board. Please subscribe if you can, instructions at the top of the thread. We have major teams behind us in the charts, Man U, Chelsea etc. -- The latest chart positions.

 

17th in the Sports and Recreation League Table.

 

5th in the Sports and Recreation - Proffesional Table.

 

Please, anyone with an ipod, subscribe to this excellent podcast!

 

The higher up the chart positions we go, the more publicity we get.

This week we have a 20 minute chat with the biggest cog in the Ebbsfleet machine, club secretary Roly Edwards, who answers all your questions. There are several appeals for vocal contrbutions, we discuss the game against Weymouth and their new manager John Hollins. Sparky begins to sing: "We're on the March to the Arch" (copyright Sparky), plus there's a load of electronic mail from the four corners of the world. The Bovril debate rolls on. And we also thank Yorkfox for all his efforts and wonder whether he still finds time to "niggle" his wife.

Having listened to the podcast last night, I assume the idea is to inform about all things MyFC - OK so the bulk of it is obviously about the Fleet but its probably a more honest approach not to change it to 'Fleet podcast' - I'm sure there would be some who complained if it was re-titled. However it would be good if somehow on the itunes search if you could type in Fleet or Ebbsfleet and get directed to it. Excellent interview with Roly who I bumped into at the match last Saturday - worth listening to just for that. Thought it was a good idea trying to get people to phone in from the match - maybe we could get Kenny to file a match report or Scott to do a drum solo!

If the podcast is about MyFC, then fine - no real need to be asking for contributors on a Fleet Forum, is there? If its about the game, ie Ebbsfleet, at least have the courtesy to name it correctly!
