How does the Blue Square m.o.t.m award get awarded is it by vote?.There must be the strongest chance that Liam recieves the award this month the results speak for themselves.I hope its not some back slapping group who decide as Liam has deseved some recognition in the past and never got it.

Think if it's not decided as a vote, it depends on the form table on matches over the month. Liam has a huge chance.

I'm not sure but I think we have to wait until after the EGM for him technically be called "Head Coach".

I believe it is awarded strictly on results, as we didn't play last week Liam will probably miss out to someone who did.

 

I can't be ar$ed to check the results and see who won it but whatever the result Liam has had an excellent January.

It doesn't just include league matches and the form tables are now only a guideline.

 

There was a bit of a row when Andy Ford won it in the first month of his last season even though he was not top of the table.

That was a result and a half that one harry!! 2 goals in last 10 minutes to win it from memory? and a crowd circa 1800. xlnt game.

He definetely deserves it. The hard work he has put into the club this month and in december to try and re-light the candles of hope for promtion into L2. He seems to have found a match winning formulae and has continued to adopt this through his most recent fixtures, hence the form P6 W6 D0 L0!! On their current performance, i honestly beleive that we have what it takes to be there or there abouts at the end of the season, and go up to League two, and the fleet being the hard, stubborn characters that we are, we will stay up against the odds, just like in 02-03!! As the words of Liam Daish were: "Believe"!

Player of the month in the BSP? You think John Akinde will have a chance? The way he's shined through is phenonemal.

He certainly deserves it for putting together a young team of raw talent and helping them develop together. Seems like he has a real eye for potential.

Hmmm, that sounds familiar. I wonder who has said the same thing before?

It took me longer to reach the same conclusions since Ive only seen one live game, and had to rely on radio broadcasts and sift through second hand opinions. There's no arguing with January's results though.

Seriously, YF, LD would be a good choice. I'm not sure he will get it, a) because we are still regarded as a small team fighting above our weight, and the award frequently goes to one of the top 2 clubs.

Also it goes on results on the Histon match was postponed so that will go against Liam.

 

In a way, it would be good if he didn't get it as winning this is invariably a curse.

I hope he gets it (I'm not superstitious) - I also hope he can keep most of the squad together over the summer.
