Heybridge Swifts next Saturday

Swifts visit us next Saturday on the back of four consecutive wins in all competitions; that includes beating Grays 2-0 in the Essex Senior Cup and putting three past Wealdstone in the League. They've scored 11 goals in their last four games and conceded one.

 

They seem to have turned things around since Harrow thumped them 5-0 on the 5th January.

 

Should be a tougther test than yesterday for The Blues, but then our encounters with Swifts always are.

 

I think Shave is suspended now (?) so the line-up will have to change. I hope Macca & Darren are back in contention.

Heybridge have come through a lot since Harrow where they conceded two injuries having used all their subs,finishing with nine but they have promoted three reserves as cover,who have proved excellent. Despite missing four squad players, they have progressed big time and will/should provide a good match for Rickay lets hope the weather holds out for Saturday and it promises to be a cracker.

I enjoy our encounters with Heybridge a lot more than I do when we play Chelmsford.

 

I hope we can continue our run of good form this Saturday.

Think I'm right in thinking this match will probably mark Dave Warehams return to New Lodge? Don't think he was there for our FA Cup replay, was he?
