"I agree about desicions changing the game today. Firstly Ebbsfleet are not of the pedigree that Cambridge and Torquay are. Ws should have gone at them from the off with 442 (easy to say now i know).

Secondly their first goal came from an absolute nothing freekick given by possibly the worst linesman i have ever seen. He didnt make any desicions of his own other than the freekcik they scored from, which IMHO he got wrong. All the other times he waited for the referee to give the desicion then copied him afterwards. It got that bad that at one point the ball ricocheted out right in front of him clearly for a corner. He ran central to the box began to raise his flag for a goalkick, saw that the referee had given a corner and slowly tried to make it look as though he was giving a corner anyway. He was only a lad and this might be why he wasnt too confident but if he cant do his job he shouldn't be learning in this league.

Next the foul on Mc Grath is as described by LoyalBrewer6. The ebbsfleet player charged through him and i dont see how Mcgrath could have yad a fair chance of winning the ball.

Oh and just a mention of Lance Cronin (ebbsfleet Goalkeeper) giving our away support a two finger salute at the end of the game. The same time that Crosby told the officials what he thought".

Something tells me they felt hard done by. It has to be said that they had plenty of opportunity to clear the ball before Barrett shot home, however, and I'm still not 100% convinced it was a penalty either - I'll reserve judgement until I see it again on the Setanta show on Friday (assuming they include it) - perhaps "The Cameraman" can let us have his comments on the incident, though, once he's looked at the video?

As for Lance's supposed indiscretion at the end - if it happened, it cant be condoned & he should certainly be spoken to about it.

The usual sour grapes I recon.

Listening to Chas and Gemma..NCBA lost to a better team.

Ebbsfleet deserved the three points and all the kudos that comes with a solid performance.

I actually opted to listening to Radio Kent today over listening to Wolves 4-1 stuffing of Hornets away in the FA Cup.

Never thought that would happen, and I am very pleased indeed with both results!

Daish has got the team together brilliantly, and who can tell what´s in stored in the future...who looks bright this Saturday evening.

Brilliant effort,kudos all around.

Next up..the trashing of Dartford.

Sometimes it´s just nice to be a footie fans!

Same old Akinde...always scoring.

As stated..brilliant!

NCBA? Where did you learn to call them that? You're not supposed to know about that, good call.

I watched todays game with a Burton fan, Newark Colin of Confguide fame, he spent the whole game bemoaning about his players, asking "what was that?", questioning his team's passion and skill and was very happy at their performance. When we got back into the bar after the game he asked for a pint of Courage as that's what his team lacked. I tend to agree with what he said.

We should have had a penalty and their goal was offside when we played up there in September, lifes a bitch but over the course of the season these things tend to even themselves out.

Doubt whether Setanta will show it. They normally only show the goals.

I have only watched it at normal speed while doing the highlights, and it looked as if Sasha did win the ball with his head (which was what the Ref was indicating), but he barged into the back of their player from behind at the same time.
It's one of those where a foul for a 'man and ball challenge' would definitely have been given if it was outside the box.
I'll have another look at it on Monday (in slo-mo).
If you are a MyFC member, the highlights on their website will include that incident, so you can see for yourselves.

Don't suppose any Burton fans witnessed Darren Stride's 40-yard dash from his box to ours to bemoan a tackle by Sacha that Stride clearly saw much better than anyone else, including the referee who was 35 yards closer to the incident?

No, thought not.

Albion were outclassed today, simple as. Not massively, just enough to lose 2-1.

Hardly a dash Stu, Stride is lightening slow and even flat out he barely breaks into an amble these days. I thought he did brilliantley for Big Johns goal applause

I initially thought too that this goal came from their not clearing their lines, but having had the benefit of watching it on video, it's actually a classic example of how we were 1st to all the balls that mattered: the free kick comes in & Chris McPhee gets in front of their defender to win the ball; as it starts to run away from him, Luke Moore dashes in, in front of Burton challenges & plays the ball back beyond the edge of the box for Barrett to hit home. Their goalie just stands & watches it fly into the top corner.

They can emulate their manager & whine as much as they like; the team, with the greater will won on the day.

Just seen this on the BBC website from whining Nigel following their 2-1 victory over R&D this week;

"If over the last two games we hadn't won one of them it would have been a terrible injustice," he said. "Given the performances you could argue we deserved six points, not just three."

He really does see the world through strange eyes. Even the most rabid NCBA fan would be pushed to argue that they deserved to beat us.
