The Recorder does it again

I stopped somewhere between Horsham and here to get the Recorder - there is not a mention of the free entry this Tuesday.

Scoop Pete was there, and when asked why it was not publicised, he gave the lame exvuse that he did not know about it.

Believe it if you want to - I choose not to.

GIven that they use our website for their reports, given that it is their job to keep up to date with the local news, I find this totally unacceptable.

there was a small piece in the NLP which i bought this morning, but it was tiny. You would of thought that something which means fans get in for nothing would be positive reporting but once again the c**ts at the recorder have obviously shown that they don't give a toss about the local football population, just west ham

These people who know nothing about our club nor Rumford make me laugh. The stadium is currently used 7 days a week therefore something has to give if RFC used the facility.

As far as AFCHX not informing the Recorder of the free entry, it was as plain as anything on the website. It would seem the Recorder are very quick to "copy" Dagger04's reports but not very quick when it comes to picking up information that would benefit AFCHX.

I am disappointed.

If you've missed the letter in the Romford Recorder - here it is as ive typed it up for everyone!

Urhcins: No Cause For Complaint.

Why, oh why are AFC Hornchurch up in arms about the council's decision "to maximise community use of the facilities and create additional financial benefits" at Bridge Avenue Sports Stadium?

They are just tenants after all! If not then they would have no ground. When Hornchurch FC webt bust in 2005 i assume theywould have been stripped of theurassets to pay creditors.

One assest would have been their ground, but as the stadium was council owned it stayed so.

Instead of thanking their lucky stars they could reform days lateras AFC Hornchurch and moveback into Bridge Avenue Stadium, they are outraged when Havering Councilwants to use itsown facility.

It seems to me AFC Hornchurch wants its cake and to eat it too.

I remember Bridge Avenue Stadium before Karl Williams arrived - it was far from the derelict drug den he describes.

I find him very uncharitable in comments on Romford Football clubs "rich and charitable history"

Romford FC is a community club run by its fans, and has no funds to speak of, but does have people eo work with thecommunity.

it runs football schools in holidays and after-school clubs in primary schools. It covers children and youth across the whole spectrum and caters for their specific needs.

It has free match day entry to under 16's and now has over 500junior season ticket holders.

Finally, i was wonder if Karl sees the irony of his statement that Romford has only been going since 1992 - when his own club has only been in existence for two and a half years!

That was sent in by someone called Paul Adams, Romford!
