What a great day that must have been and I expect Havant will get a big pay out for that game. To take the lead twice over Liverpool. Thats pure ecstacy and of course that is what the F A Cup is all about.

How would you be feeling if you were a follower of Waterlooville FC or Havant FC? Waterlooville were always the senior of the two clubs.

 

A great day for the non-league game and a poke in the eye for the Premiership. Pity H&W couldn't do it over 90 mins.

Personally, i can't see what the fuss about their playing performance is all about.

 

Still conceded 5 goals -thats rubbish-and lost by a net 3-thats respectable.

 

Off pitch yes-fantastic well earned windfall.

 

We may just be in the same league as them next season, so think they may have slightly better resources than us should that happen !!

They did non-league proud, and have enhanced the reputation of our level of football nationally if not globally - which can only benefit all of us. Could put extra bums on seats for us too.

 

Watched the game, they had the millionaires truly rattled in the first half. Put the ball down and played. Were ahead twice. Earned a standing ovation from the Kop at the end.

 

Absolute and total romance football. Glorious stuff.

Just out of interest (or otherwise) I saw Waterlooville play Selsey in what I think was the first qualifying round of the FA Cup around 1968. I think Waterlooville won!
