With Burton taking no more than 100, I'd just like to say how glad I am that we are now being noticed. I know there were a fair few MyFCers there today, as well as some new local faces. It's good we're taking in fans from both. We are taking in people from in and around the borough, which will maintain the local ethos of Ebbsfleet, whilst making the most of our new ownership. As far as I'm concerned, anyone at the gate with their £13 is welcome.

After such a disciplined display, great goals, and an exciting game, the 1300 Fleet fans must surely be back sometime soon?

The atmosphere was also great today; the more people we can have around the drum actually singing, the better.

Ive said it before and i will say it again, if we get an entertaining game with good football, which is what weve had since xmas, the fans will come in bigger numbers.

Why didn't they come last season?
we did well last year because of charlies goals not the football we played (except the oxford game).

I have just published a transport plan on the MyFC website that is designed to facilitate getting MyFC members to games at Stonebridge Road. As it takes time to get structures into place I have suggested that the home game against Rushden on March 8th will be the first one where transport will be available for travelling MyFC members. Th plan at the moment is to run four buses, one each from Manchester, Birmingham, Derby and Southampton, will pick-ups on route if necessary. We will be able to gauge the level of interest as the structures are put in place and hopefully increase the quantity as the remainder of the season progresses. The target is to have between 8 and 10 buses from different parts of the country for the last home game of the season. From the begining of next season the structures will be fully operational and we are hopeful of a minimum of 10 buses per home game.

Great idea. I might try and get to a few games via the busses then during term time.

Couldn't make today, my stupid friend (and myfc member) thought it would be a plan to get married today!!?

Sounds like I missed a great day and a great crowd, well done to all that attended, and welcome to all the myfcers that came, must be the first time in ages that we had a big crowd and did well to encourage repeat visits wink

Really looking forward to Tuesdays derby and may have even convinced a few 'newbies' (including the aforementioned myfc member) to attend! Should be a great night!

All of 26 days!

OK you got me, but all I was saying is that we seem to have a history of giving poor performances during vital games when we have big crowds that we're trying to encourage to return.

Leave me alone! It's late and I'm drunk lol

He should've got married in the morning:
1) You both could've gone to the footballl and;
2) If the marriage didn't work out the whole day wouldn't have been wasted. smile

As with everything - this is part of the plan but will take time to put in place. If any EUFC supporters have suggestions on possible routes and pick-up points feel free to contact me.

And as for joining MyFC - I would encourage you to do that anyway - but no - as long as a MyFC member can book the seat on the bus for you that wouldn't be a problem. Many MyFC members bring friends that are not MyFC members to games with them. It may also be possible to put the functionality into the EUFC website (but it would have to be linked to the MyFC site somehow - not a techie so don't know how this stuff works).

Excellant idea - not just the transport, but the idea of opening the buses to ALL. The sooner the barriers between both sets of fans are broken down the better. (Obviously, there will always be some differences, after all you need something to encourage £35 a year). But stuff like that can only highlight the good that can be achieved with 27,000 strong fanbase.

He got married in Dartford about 1pm.

I was sorely tempted to nip back to Northfleet but it's really not good form to go from one of your best mates weddings to the football.

Top result though. Both for him, his lovely wife and the Fleet. Can't wait for Tuesday.

What with weddings and brilliant holidays, I am having Fleet withdrawl symdrome.

Had a fantastic day yesterday - fans were brilliant - now know why Kenny is such a legend! Whole experience was enjoyable, friendly and the end result totally justified. Also the trip down from Norfolk was a piece of p**s as they say. Good luck Tuesday - give the drum an extra thrash for me Stuart!
