Michael Alexis Benefit Race Night

On Saturday 23rd February 2008 Abingdon United Football Club are holding a Race Night in aid of Michael Alexis who unfortunately sustained a broken leg and ankle in a recent first team fixture. The event will be held in the function room at the club. The night will consist of 9 or 10 races, the last 1 or 2 being auction races. Each race consists of 8 horses. First race will start at 7.30pm

 

To make the night a success we need to sell all the horses and get all the races sponsored.

 

To buy a horse costs £5.00, and if your horse wins you receive £20.00

 

To sponsor a race costs £30.00. Again, if your horse wins you receive £20.00. You also get to name the race.

 

Tote betting will be available on the night, and light refreshments will be provided.
