Personally I wouldn't take SIDE out of the team Michael. He looked a real threat last week until he was replaced.Grafts & delivers a good ball.He is not afraid of taking a pot at goal either.Others tend to do the hard work, get the space to shoot but then take one more touch than is necessary or lay the ball off when already in a better position to score.

Sorry,I cant see Morris starting the game either, but he'll do a fair job in the middle if brought on to replace tired legs.

I just feel that he lacks being an attacking menace that's all. I think this is his only downfall.

Martin is a left sided player & though he says he's comfortable down both wing positions I feel he needs to play out left.I cant see Trotty starting him out on the right.

My preferred line-up would be :

----------SCS

Corbishley,Saunders,Goodfellow,Joseph

Peters,McKimm,Jackson

--Side--Pinnock/Martin

------Haworth

subs : Smith,Eastwood,Morris,Bowles,Pinnock/Martin

You will probably right though in that Trotty will put Corbishley on the bench with Peters dropping back to full back with BOTH Pinnock & Martin in the starting line-up.

Chalmers-Stevens

Corbishley, Trott, Goodfellow, Joseph

Peters, Mckimm, Saunders, Jackson

Haworth, Pinnock

BENCH: Bowles, Smith, Martin, Side, Morris.

I think the midfield is going to be the key tomorrow personally, so i think we need to start with our strongest midfeild line up we have, but i know Trott will pick a different side to what i have chosen but that is what i would start with

Pinnock Haworth

Subs: Smith, Corbishley, Jackson, Quain, Bowles

I'd like to see Peters play at right back, so we can be sure we have the pace there to deal with Boreham Wood's fast attacks. Morris has done enough for me to deserve his place in the midfield. He plays for the shirt and offers us plenty of work rate in the midfield. Has to be Martin on the wing. Gives us balance, and width, and has pace to hurt opponents. Stops us from being too predictable.

From Boreham Wood today. Beware the "new"/old" boys Trotty & co!

They'll be all out to impress!

Think they have also signed a forward from cambridge city.

Having said all that, i still think Thomas is their danger man.

Not just because of his goals, but he is quick and strong-best forward i have seen in Ryman this year (Haworth,Pinnock and Side excepted)
