Owning the football club

When you pay your membership fee, you will become a member of the MyFootballClub Trust. Your Trust will purchase a controlling interest in the football club, in effect making you a joint owner of your football club.

I understand what your saying pat.but they call it a membership in that quote as well, I own shares in a footy club, I get reports etc and I hold a certificate saying that I am a legal owner of shares in that company, and they entitles me to a number of privileges voting etc, no not the team lol
unlike Myfc I do not have to pay every year to hold onto those rights. so does that make them part time owners of a full time club ? as I said to me it makes them a club member no different to joining a working mans club or the rac etc
