Many free tickets around this time of year, LT...?

Don't know. I doubt free tickets would be given out for Arlesey at home do you? Looking forward to Tuesday. Hope we give a good account of ourselves.

I know for a fact that many hundreds of free tickets are being given out.

I went to a Dartford game at Stonbridge Road a few years ago. It was an Easter Saturday, you got thrashed 5-0 and England were on the Telly at about 17:00, there must have been no more thatn 200 there.

It doesn't bother me where the Fleet are playing, groundshare or not, I'll be there. Shame your "fans" couldn't do the same.

its a shame that we the same crowd as dartford or in some cases they get more and there 3 leagues lower and play slow football
you could understand if we were 16/lower in the league but were 9th and last year we had the best season in the confrence ever.
there is 27'000 members of myfc so at least 500-1000 must live in the south east of england why dont they come and watch and to be fare most of the time the football is good if not brilliant. we deserve a big crowd for once and the players do . so come on every one lets push for 1400-1750.
thanks,
Kieron.

We had 1100 at what Oxford game?

We have had contact with a leading national transport company and are looking at organising and co-ordinating trips to Stonebridge Road. It will take 6 to 8 weeks to get sorted. The intention at this stage is to begin with approx. 200 people (excluding those who choose to make their own way) attending rising to 500 by the last game of the season. If we get a positive response from MyFC members we will have structures in place for the strart of next season, that hopefully should mean a consistant turn-out of between 500-1,000 for each home game.

To be fair if you did that you would shut me right up.

Harry, if they could guarantee 1,000 fans every game there would be no need for original Fleet fans - ye could all do something productive on a Saturday afternoon.
However, after a reality biscuit, an increase of 150-200 every game from MyFC, plus maybe another 100 'locals' would make a huge difference to the club as a whole... Lets just wait and see tho... Cant really see Fleet playing in front of 2000+ in the BSP - the MyFC owners will turn up for big games tho...

Im coming down in March for two home games, and hope to get to the two Yorkshire games in March too - the best I am likely to be able to do in any season is a couple of home games though. (and I agree its not enough to make meaningful decisions)

You're a muppet Harry. Still talking an inordinate amount of rubbish I see.

Yes we did lose 5-0 at home to Maldon one early Saturday morning kick off. Maldon won the league that year and I guarantee there would have been more than 200 there. Not bad for a club at our level with no ground or income or at that stage a home to look forward to. I was there and a certain Simon Parker scored a hat trick for Maldon if I remember. Do you know who he is?

Of course fans are coming back. We're playing in our home town, playing good football, scoring goals and top of the league in a brand new stadium which has cover all around. Do you expect the crowds to remain between 200-300? Get real. Gravesend from what I hear play good football, have an excellent manager, doing well in the league and in the FA Trophy yet still struggle to get crowds over 1,000. To me, it seems the people of Gravesham couldn't give a fig about Ebbsfleet Utd and MYFC.

Gravesend fans bleated for a while about the name change, bleated for a while about the MYFC, but all with a few exceptions have now meekly surrendered and are walking along with their arms in the air waiting for god knows what fate aways them.

How you can accuse our "fans" of not caring is unbelievable. It was because of the "fans" that Dartford FC came back from the shambles of the Watling Street days. The club is owned by the "fans" to ensure that no one individual like Mr Thompson can ruin it again for us.

As for the free tickets. Yes given to kids when we opened our "family enclosure" and our 1 year anniversary. What facts do you have to the contrary? You're obviously someone big in North Kent as you seem to have the full facts at your disposal.

I honestly worry for the future of Gravesend/Ebbsfleet.

Shame you couldn't post that without putting "you're a muppet Harry at the begging".

And Gary seeing how you want a slanging match I'll give you one. People on here think you are a class a twat. We all talk about you at games, on the away minibus about how you like to make match reports to games you didn't see, about how you like to make yourself out to be important "Oh look at me, I've sent a message to the Chairman" Yeah? I got a Taxi home with him once, beat that! I won't name any names but you can bet your bottom doller that if they post on here on a regular basis then the two of us have slagged you off on a Saturday afternoon.

Cheers.

its become a sad time when one so called fleet fan is reduced to saying this about another fleet fan.

I know, and believe it or not this is one of the very few times that I'm ashamed of one of my post's. I'll stand by it and wouldn't think to withdraw it but I relucntly posted it. The funny thing is I don't even dislike him, I slag him off as it's the popular thing to do.

A trip from the States is a goal of mine. Likely not a goal I can accomplish often, but IMO a worthwhile goal. I listened via BBC Radio Kent yesterday with Five Live's Liverpool v. Havant and Waterlooville on one PC and splitting my time between Pompey and Ebbsfleet on my work laptop -- but the last thirty minutes of the match was focused almost entirely to The Fleet. I've been impressed with the way the MyFootballClub deal was handled from the first time I heard of it and believe it will benefit the club ... it made news in America and this land is quite behind in football knowledge and prowess. But I'm sold on it. Hope that BBC Radio Kent is never blocked like Five Live is so that I can always manage to find the broadcast. BTW I'm glad to hear that an opportunity to travel may be in the works -- and I love the passion of the fans posting on these boards.
