a grand a week...

Bags I next chairman, sounds great!!!

Flippancy aside, there are a couple of, seemingly, well-informed contibutors on MyFC site - especially Nick Harris (Independent) - see "New Independent article {sic}".

Not saying that I agree, or even disagree, but worth a look..

Everything seems to be getting a bit complicated. Is the person political, or has Peter Hain resigned needlessly??

Drop in on your way through.

You're right Unc, farrago is a good word but its used exclusively in Oz by politicians just after they've been caught out. smile

Planning permission at Fleet Leisure for floodlit artificial pitches should boost the potential for moneymaking there. Whilst it may not be comparable, all you have to do is look at Goals Dartford- Four out of five weeknights, there are at least twenty league games there in an evening, at a cost of £85 per game. Whilst maintanence and wages must be taken into account, I think it must be very profitable.

If the pitches don't prove a financial winner in themselves, couldn't a community programme be organised by us, with the support of high-profile, rich sponsors? There's potential either way there.
