After a gap of six weeks, WEFC Yth Team went to Sun Postal Sports in Watford for a Subsidiary Cup game. Sun are top of their divsion of the Allied Counties League and unbeaten all season. Windsor were without keeper Sam Richards who was ill, Jack Balchin stood in.

Sun were a competent side who looked to pass the ball and play good football, allied with some big strong boys who were happy to 'dish out a tackle or two'. WEFC went one down after 20 minutes from a wind-assisted corner that sailed straight into the net. Injured defender Tom Hall had to be replaced and Sun had a few more chances, but Windsor went in 1-0 down at half-time. As usual, WEFC upped their game in the second half and deservedly drew level from a Craig Bartlett freekick. Windsor were now dominating and looking the more likely winners but an unfortunate own goal put Sun 2-1 up. Soon after, a 20 yard chip from George Martin made it 2-2. With ten minutes left and extra time looming, a fortunate deflection gave Sun an easy third goal. By now, WEFC were visibly tiring and a fourth goal right on full-time confirmed the defeat. Windsor were a little unlucky in defeat but paid the price for conceding soft goals. Mark Lines and Craig Bartlett again impressed for Windsor but by far the best player on the pitch was Rob Lazarczuk who put in a superb performance in midfield to enhance his growing reputation.
