Makes me laugh how a bunch of know-nothing liberalist pinkos go marching the streets of London, protesting about something they know nothing about, and yet the people they were supposedly looking out for, the Iraqis, are enjoying freedom for the first time in 25 years and are looking at our troops as their heroes.

So daz. CZ has carefully considered the issues and has accurately assessed the motives of the people who marched [and I wasn't one of them, by the way]. The marchers were "looking out for ,the Iraqis", were they? The Iraqi people are now enjoying freedom for the first time in 25 years are they? Our troops are their heroes, are they?

And you agree with that? It's superficial sound-bite rubbish, taken straight from Tone at Number 10, I should think.

The Iraqi people are now enjoying freedom for the first time in 25 years are they?

What are you saying?

That all those Iraqis smiling and waving on tv are not happy? Or that they have been paid to act for the camera?

The end of a tyrant's era has come?

Whilst the world must face up to new dangers, some possibly as a result of action in Iraq, don't you think that the West would have faced dangers from certain factions whether the war had taken place or not?

'Where we went wrong was letting Islam into the country'.

That statement came from a colleague at work of middle-east descent. We don't cause wars, or terrorism. Americans didn't ask for Bin Laden Airlines to strike. The nutters of the world with their blinkered vision cause the hatred and they need to be stopped. If that means Islamic states in the middle east, then so be it.

He was talking about us, the U.K.

He asked how we could be so stupid to let people into the country that obviously hate us so much.

I am going to stop there before I get accused of being something that I am not.

Those that mention colour or religion are the true racists of the world.

I just wish the whole world could get along in harmony.

I shudder to think what would happen if we ever discovered life on other planets.....

Where to start daz, where to start?

Passing on the opportunity that you saw coming, Iraq is a secular state.

So 'we' don't cause wars or terrorism. well let's just look at that one for a moment.

No. I give up. Another time, perhaps.

I think there are points on both side that make sense.

For the anti-war to insist that they are 100% correct is just as insane as the pro-war declaring to own the higher moral ground.

I think we will all have to agree to disagree.

At the end of the day - do we REALLY know all the facts?

or just, as somebody has mentioned, what the authorities want us to know?

This applies as much in favour of war as against.

How do we know the terrorist threat wasn't more serious than they claim?

BTW.....I hate Tony Blair. The man contradicts himself too many times. He is against terrorism so badly that he couldn't wait to let the Irish ones out of jail in the quest for peace yet insists that the Iraqis WILL face war crime charges.

So you see, there are too many different points of view, etc in this for anybody to be 100% correct.
